A fourth generation farmer, Harold, along with his wife Jill and their children raise llamas and grow potatoes on 3145 acres. A portion of their irrigated potatoes are produced for Frito Lay Canada and McCain Foods Canada.

Eric Ritchie 2005

Eric has a degree in agronomy from the Nova Scotia Agriculture College. He has spent the last 20 years working for McCain Foods in various capacities, including managing Valley Farms as an extension agronomist and currently as Agriculture Manager responsible for Farm Food Safety and Sustainability. He is Past President of the New Brunswick Institute of Agrologists and has been very active in his local community. He has served as the captain of the Kidney Foundation, Cub Scout leader and as assistant coach of youth basketball. Eric is married to Lee and has three children, Cole, Drew and Kate.

Mark is a Director of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture, chair of the Farm Finance Trade and Taxation Committee, and vice-chair of The Labor Issues Co-ordinating Committee as well as The Ontario Agricultural Human Resource Committee. Together with his partner Eleanor they assist with a Beef cow-calf operation in Eastern Ontario.

He is a Past President of the PEI Federation of Agriculture and a former member of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture.
