Ann Gordon’s career has focused on agri-food, rural business, leadership and international development in the entrepreneurial, non-profit and government sectors. This took her across North America and to Afghanistan, China, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Kenya, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania. Her Nuffield study provided the foundation for Ann to create the Global Leadership Competency Framework 2021. She is also a published author on women’s economic empowerment and market systems.
Ann holds a MSc from the University of Guelph and in 2023 received the Carmelle Murphy Award of Distinction from Brescia College at Western University for a career of leadership, being a role model for others and the development of individuals and community.
Currently, Ann spends time developing her professional arts practice. Her rural roots, love of nature and farm background are a big influence in her painting, photography and wearable art.
